2019 BMW 1 Series render shows its possible FWD future

If you take a poll on this, the most definite result will show that the BMW 1 Series is far away from their best and most attractive model ever produced, but that has greatly changed with the introduction of the massive refresh back in early 2015. The thing is that the BMW engineers are unstoppable and they are developing a new model expected to arrive sometime in the second half of 2018 as a 2019 model year. The online buzz is speculating that the styling will be evolutionary, and it will be done pretty much in the same way as BMW’s most recent products. The general lines of the 1 Series will not change much, but the revolutionary styling is what will bring a breath of fresh air to the exterior of the vehicle. According to some speculations, it is believed that the 2019 BMW 1 Series has a code-name “F40” and that it will most likely be offered in three and five-door variants, with a possibility that it will grow slightly which means more room inside, especially for the passengers at the back. Since it will ride on the UKL platform, it will be powered by three and four cylinder turbocharged engines borrowed from the company’s lineup. Keep in mind that the more powerful and potent engines will be backed up with the xDrive AWD setup that has more, much-needed grip.
