The 2018 Toyota Camry has been presented, and it is the most advanced and aggressive model it has been built in lineup’s history. The new Camry comes almost completely overhauled, and it is based on the Toyota New Global Architecture which makes the car more “athletic and fun to drive” compared to its predecessor.
The wheelbase is two inches longer while the total length of the car is 191.3 inches. However, the roofline has been lowered by around 1 inch, and the hood saw 1.5 inches drop as well. The height of the new model is 56.7 inches, and the 2018 Camry is more driver-oriented inside, making this car even more desirable.

The Luxury, Sport, and Hybrid versions will all be redesigned, but the Camry will come in the same four trims as before. This means that the customers will get to choose the LE, XLE, SE, and XSE, with the latter two with larger wheels and a larger spoiler lip. The chassis of the 2018 model will be more rigid and together with a new double-wishbone rear suspension setup it should improve driving and handling.

In addition, new engines are offered, and at the top of the range, we have a powerful 3.5-liter V6 with D-4S fuel injection system. Also, a 2.5-liter unit is located under the hood of other lower trims, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and this same engine is combined with the electric motor for carmaker’s new hybrid setup called Toyota Hybrid System (THS II).
