The Honda Odyssey has been the most renowned minivan in the USA for seven straight years. Now, the 2018 model has been redesigned and it looks fantastic. The styling and the performance of the new vehicle have been improved, and it received new technologies as well. The 2018 Honda Odyssey will hit the market in Lafayette, Indiana in spring 2017.
Exterior
What changed the most is the exterior. The new model comes with a company’s signature flying front grille, while on the sides of the front end there are LED headlights. In order to make the car look even more elegant, the engineers added the lightning bolt beltline whereas the sliding door tracks are hidden in the lower part of the rear quarter windows. The 2018 Honda Odyssey is equipped with the LED taillights, and it also comes with the hands-free power tailgate with foot activation.
Honda Odyssey Engine
Under the hood of the 2018 Honda Odyssey, is the 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine with Variable Cylinder Management and direct injection. This unit delivers 280 horses, which is a significant increase compared to the previous version which unit produced 248 horsepower.
Some of the new features that you can find in the new Odyssey are Display Audio with 8-inch high-resolution touchscreen interface, CabinTalk, and CabinWatch camera. In addition, there are Connected Rear Entertainment System, Cabin Control, and Social Playlist.
