Ford is one of the best companies in the world of cars, especially in the US. Also, Ford Fiesta is a best seller in Europe. Considering how much time and energy Ford put into the making of F-150 this full-size pickup is surely valued highly by both the automaker and the fans and lovers of Ford.
However, Ford needs to get more serious and step up when it comes to full-size SUVs because the Chevy Tahoe and Suburban continue to dwarf the Expedition.
Because of that, the car maker from Michigan is willing to use the profitable formula of the F-150 to the new larger SUV. The platform will not be the only thing the Expedition will take from F-150. Moreover, the new Expedition will mostly be made out of aluminum and the engine will be 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6.
Blue Oval plans four new SUVs and the restored Ford Expedition is only one of them. It can also be a forerunner to the Ford Bronco and its comeback. Would the Bronco also have EcoBoost and be completely out of aluminum? It is too early to say.
