The fans have been at the edge of their seats for months waiting to see the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon in its full glory, and there have been some leak photos online. However, we and all fans out there have a chance to see the first official photo of the new Demon thanks to Wheelsage.
The new model will be officially revealed at the New York Auto Show, and the Demon might become the most powerful vehicle that has ever reached production. Even if that is not the case, the new Dodge’s car really looks great with its wider wheel arches, aggressive line, and a massive hood scoop.
We will have to be patient for few more days to see the performance figures, but it appears that the Demon will go on sale as a drag racer. Compared to the Hellcat, the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon is 200 pounds lighter and it offers two times more grip. It sits on the 18-inch alloy wheels with street-legal drag radials. The engineers have specially tuned transmission, exhaust, suspension, launch control system and drivetrain, so this model is really one of a kind. These tuned parts are the reason why the Demon is supposed to be the most powerful vehicle in the muscle car world.
Under the hood is the supercharged V8 unit which runs on 91-octane unleaded gasoline or 100+ high octane racing fuel when you want to go from the road to drag strip and vice versa. The New York Auto Show is here, and you will need to follow us for more details about the 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon and other vehicles as well.
