Exterior

Engine Options

New Mazda CX-5 Interior Design
The interior design is simple but very fashionable. Although there are some repetitive shapes in the cabin, you can find natural wood and clean metals. Pure white, black leather and black fabric are options for the interior, and you will be getting enough room for five people.
All of the passengers and especially the driver will have easy access to all controls in the vehicle. The seats have been made with high-damping urethane, which means that the road vibration will be better neutralized than on the last model. The rear seats have a two-step reclining mechanism, and the heaters are optional for the second row.
Features and Safety
First of all, there is a 7-inch infotainment screen that is in the central position, but high on the dashboard. The infotainment system is placed a bit lower on the previous model and the reason for this change, according to Mazda, is that the driver doesn’t have to take his eyes off the road that much if he wants to check something. The display is a high-resolution 4.6-inch color TFT liquid crystal.
The Mazda Connect system helps you connect your smartphone and allows internet access. You also have a hands-free calling function as an option while the 10-speeker audio system was developed in cooperation with Bose promising high-quality reproduction.
Speaking of the safety features, we have a cruise control which is radar-based and traffic sign recognition technology. The body (hood and the front bumper) has also been designed in that way to prevent more serious injuries.
2017 Mazda CX-5 Release Date and Price
The 2017 Mazda CX-5 will go on sale in Japan in February 2017. The North American market will have a chance to get their version in the spring next year. The price remains unknown, but we do not expect to see major jumps over the previous version.
