If you followed new releases in the car industry, you have probably stumbled upon a 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid that is the most important vehicle for Hyundai on USA market at least. Well, we are proud to tell you all about the latest updates it received regarding the multimedia interface.
What makes 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid stand out, or even be a little better, from the rest of the crowd is the availability of the Apple products such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto combined with the new 7-inch touchscreen. With the new touchscreen, you can control different features of the car and have an HD radio as a standard.
Maybe that doesn’t seem much to you, but since every car maker tries to go ahead of the time with the design and features provided, while everybody follows or do the same, those little things seem to have a lot more impact on the end buyer. There are also possibilities that the Hyundai will add a few more exterior color options for both regular Sonata and Hybrid variant.
As you may, or may not know, 2017 Sonata Hybrid comes with a 2.0-liter four cylinder engine developing 154 BHP, but it also comes with a 39 kW electric motor that bumps up the ponies figure to 193. This is a medium power vehicle but don’t worry, the fuel economy numbers are still extremely competitive for a hybrid vehicle of this size. EPA rates 2017 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid at a very cost saving 39/45 MPG in the city/highway while the top trim of this model drops those numbers slightly – 38/43 MPG.

It alone can travel 27 miles on one charge, and that is thanks to a 9.8 kWh Li-ion battery pack. This version of the vehicle has slightly more power and is rated to 202 BHP. It is also good to mention that 2017 Hyundai Sonata Plug-in Hybrid can travel distance up to 590 miles on a full charge of battery and a full tank of gas. Not bad!
