The 2016 SEMA Show is only a couple of days away and Honda will present numerous tuned models at the show, most of them will be Civic compacts.
One of the most interesting models that will arrive in Las Vegas is the Civic Type R prototype. This prototype gives us an insight of how the next high-performance car will look like. The new Type R will be completely identical to the prototype or it will come with some minor changes.

However, the Japanese company doesn’t want to reveal any details about the engine. Rumor has it that an upgraded version of a 2.0-liter turbo inline-4 unit rated at 300 hp will be the chosen one.
The 2017 Civic hatch will also reach the show. The styling of this car is Euro-inspired with additional custom parts such as carpet floor mats, brake rotors, decklid spoiler and new emblems. The car contains red spoiler under the body which goes perfectly with 19-inch wheels.
The GRC Civic Coupe Competitive Race car will also arrive at the show. The car is equipped with FIA-approved safety cage. The vehicle will also be at the USAF 25 Hour of Thunderhill on December 3-4. In addition to this car, the 2016 Coupe Racing Concept will also be a part of the Civic lineup.
Honda will also present the SEGA Sonic Civic, the embodiment of the “Sonic the Hedgehog”. The car has an updated exterior, unique vinyl and custom tires and wheels. The exterior is indeed something special. It comes in blue color with yellow details, with Sonic logo on the hood and a large character on the sides. This is done in order to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Sonic the Hedgehog. The rear seats come with Katzkin Blue Leather, whereas the custom audio-visual system signed by Rockford Fosgate is located in the trunk.
The Civic Coupe aLL STaR Performance/Tjin Edition will also be in introduced. The car is equipped with special wheels, updated brakes, but there are some other improvements regarding the design. The vehicle has Axalta Sunrise yellow paint. In addition, Katzkin perforated suede and leather interior are another feature of the car.
Honda Civic Coupe by MAD Industries is another car that will be at the SEMA lineup. The car will be presented in two colors – Jet Black and Aegean Blue. The car has many carbon parts and tuned interior next to the 19-inch wheels and the Eibach Pro-Kit Performance Springs. The Sedan Meguiars Build has updates from Greddy Performance Products and it will join the Coupe.
As the company stated, another Civic in Body-in-White will appear at the show is designed “to allow amateur and pro race teams the ability to build new race cars without having to tear apart a production car”.
You will also get to see the 2017 Ridgeline. The Black Edition / MAD industries Sport Truck is combined with a Powersports MAD Edition CB500F Naked Sport Bike in the similar paint and they will reach SEMA too. The Japanese carmaker will add a Tjin Edition to the lineup with TRX250X ATV and the RTL-E/Fox Marketing paired with the FourTrax Foreman Rubicon 4×4 ATV.
