Spy shots of the 2016 Toyota Fortuner confirm that the car has reached dealership in India. The odd thing here is that the vehicle is supposed to be launched on November 7, 2016. Guhan Shetty posted the images of the new car online. From now on, you can register for the new Toyota on the official site of the company.
Engine
The 2016 Fortuner was seen next to the Etios and Innova Crysta, implying that the photos were taken at some Toyota dealership or facility in south India. Meanwhile, In Thailand, this car comes equipped with three engine options. First one is a 2.8-liter engine that produces 174 hp and 450 Nm of torque. The second unit is a 2.7-liter, where the third 2.4-liter delivers 147 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
Out of the three options, the 2.8-liter and 2.4-liter units will definitely be offered in the Indian market, whereas we are not so convinced about the 2.7-liter engine. A six-speed manual will come with the 2.4-liter engine, unlike the 2.8-liter one, which will be available with the six-speed automatic.
Features
Top trim will be equipped with LED tail lamps, projector headlights with LED DRLs and cruise control. Furthermore, the car will be equipped with reversing camera Downhill Assist Control System and electrically adjustable driver’s seat. If you opt for the top-shelf trim, you will also get A-TRC Traction Control system, various driving modes, electric tailgate and a 7-inch touchscreen T-Connect infotainment system with satellite navigation.

Price
The Fortuner will appear in two colors – white and brown and the price will go from INR 33 Lakhs ($49,412) to INR 40 Lakhs($59,895).
