This bridge was built in 1950’s to connect Mandeville with Metairie, and it was made just 16 feet above the waves below. If that isn’t scary enough for you, then once you get on this bridge and start driving/walking out, you can easily say goodbye to the land behind you because this monstrosity is 23.83 miles long and it will take you some time to get where you are headed.
