This is one of those bridges that are not too scary when you drive over it, but when you are a pedestrian walking across this fog-covered bridge and staring down into 180 ft long fall, things couldn’t be more frightening. These two bridges are a proof of their functionality because they connect Whidbey Island and Fidalgo Island that were, before them, only accessible by ferry.
