1Bacon-Wrapped Cheesy Stuffed Jalapeños

Indulge yourself with a bacon-wrapped snack that melts in your mouth.

Ingredients:

For this recipe make sure to acquire shredded cheese, cream cheese, garlic, and smoked paprika that you need to stuff into sliced jalapeños.

12 fresh jalapeño peppers1

8 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese2

1 clove garlic, chopped

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

12 slices bacon, cut in half

24 toothpicks

Directions:

Warm up the oven to 400F degrees. Prepare a big baking sheet or a silicone baking mat. Put the baking rack on top of it.

Cut the jalapeño peppers in half by length; Take out the seeds and center membrane. Put it aside.

Beat the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic, and paprika with a mixer or by hand, until they are all mixed together. Add a pinch of salt and then use a spoon to fill all 24 jalapeño halves.

Roll bacon around the stuffed jalapeños and to make sure it doesn’t move pierce it with a toothpick. Each stuffed jalapeños should be placed on the baking rack, leave it in the oven to bake for 25-28 minutes and if you like it to be really crispy, leave it for a few extra minutes to bake. After baking, you should serve it instantly, while they are still hot. It can be kept in the fridge up to 4 days.

Tips: This snack will be equally tasty if you have the jalapeño peppers prepared the previous day. Just keep them in the fridge until the time for baking comes.

If you don’t like spicy food make sure to remove all the seeds, even though they carry heat anyway.
