Grant Morrison is famous in the comic-book world, but he has never worked with Spider-Man. However, after Dave McKean’s Arkham Asylum: A Serious House On A Serious Earth everything could have changed. Morrison had the desire to do a dark Spider-Man graphic novel with Simon Bisley in the 1990s.
In this version, Spider-Man would be sent to a parallel world by Mysterio, and there, Aunt May died, and Peter Parker never got married. This Spider-Man miniseries had the script completed, but the project never materialized.
