In the original movie, Deadpool awakens next to Vanessa and says: “I had another Liam Neeson nightmare. I kidnapped his daughter, and he just wasn’t having any of it. They made three of those movies. At some point, you just have to wonder if he’s a bad parent.” Vanessa gets kidnapped, but will that happen in the sequel as well?
