If we don’t see Deadpool’s evil clone, we might see Cable’s. After doppelganger got stolen from the Askani clan, it was raised by Apocalypse as their next vessel. The connections to the Askani clan are evident by now and introducing a clone would wreak havoc in Deadpool 2.
