The original Blade Runner with Harrison Ford was launched in 1982, and the film was outstanding. No wonder so many sequels never got made, despite numerous efforts. However, we have been gifted with the new version thanks to director Denis Villeneuve. Ford appears in the new film once again, but besides him, Ryan Gosling joins the crew and Blade Runner 2049 received nothing but positive feedback when it hit the theaters earlier in the year.
