There is something about Rey we fail to understand. Luke’s blue Lightsaber called to her and showed both her and Luke’s memories. Moreover, Obi-Wan called her by name while she and Leia exchanged some meaningful stares in both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. She has to be connected to Leia in some way, and we will find that out.
