9Pomegranate allows faster muscle strength recovery
It has been concluded that antioxidants from pomegranate are helping with memory and brain activity, but recently it has been noticed that it also affects muscle recovery. The University of Texas, Austin, researchers worked with volunteers that continued with their regular diet but were adding 4 ounces of placebo or pomegranate two times a day. It was noted that people that took juice noticed a reduction in muscle soreness and muscle weakness. This fruit is mostly available during the winter, but it is good if you can get frozen or 100% juice.
