Although Wendi Richter was the former WWF Women’s Champion and the star of the first WrestleMania ever, she has been forgotten over the years despite her massive contribution to pro wrestling. She got induced in WWE Hall of Fame in 2010, but the way she left the organization in 1995 will never be forgotten.

This woman was hired on a contract with a minimal downside payment, and she got co-main event status at WrestleMania. Richter was supposed to regain the title from Leilani Kai that night.
