Lee showcased his talents immediately. Even though he didn’t start as a freshman, he managed to beat Paul Posluszny, Penn State’s team captain in the post-practice spring. However, Lee would never admit that. He would really step up as a sophomore and record 228 tackles in the next two seasons. He would become one of the best players in Penn State and even after the ACL injury, his teammates voted him team captain.
