Lee’s career could have gone the other way. He was a starter in basketball in high school, and he averaged 21.2 points and 9.1 rebounds per game as a senior, which were fantastic stats. He also played AAU basketball, and the coach would keep him in the game for a very long time that his father had to intervene. However, the coach responded: “He plays so hard, the other kids know they have to play that way to stay in the game. I can’t take him out.”
