Lee has been leading the Dallas franchise defense for a while, but he is also the Cowboy’s nominee for Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year this season. “Guys look to him, not only for the practical part of communication but just the example that he sets each and every day,” Garrett said. “He does that in our building. He does that out in the community. He’s a special guy to have on your team. He’s certainly one of the cornerstone players in this organization.”
Lee is quite active off the field as well. He teamed up with JCPenney to take kids from the local Y on a special holiday shopping at the Stonebriar Centre JCPenney store. Lee was spending time with the kids and help them choose the right gifts for the families. Furthermore, Lee is working with the Dreambuilders Foundation on various programs centered around serving children and families in need in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
