In December, when the Cowboys lost to the Giants 10-7, Lee broke a 45-year-old Cowboys record. Moreover, he received the highest grade ever in Rod Marinelli’s system for performance with 17 solo tackles.

Lee Roy Jordan, a linebacker for the Cowboys in the 1960s and 1970s, had 21 tackles in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Sean Lee would tie the mark in 2012 and break the record one year after that.

“He’s been remarkably good,” head coach Jason Garrett said after the game. “He’s a great football player. We all know that. He’s probably playing his best ball right now. His production is off the charts.”

Lee thought he could have been better: “There were a couple of tackles still left out there.” But he was humble as always. What do you think of Sean Lee now?
