Lee was in a loaded draft class, and he got selected as the 55th pick by the Dallas Cowboys. Lee was surprised to get picked this early, but he would get used to the spotlight soon enough. He intercepted future Hall of Famer Peyton Manning twice in a December game which the Cowboys won. “By the end of that game he had everyone’s attention,” ESPN analyst Tom Jackson said.
