The alphabet is taught immediately the children start with the kindergarten and there is the famous Alphabet song. The order of letters is always the same, but have you actually wondered why the order is like it is? Alphabet has been in that form ever since it was created sometime between 19th and 15th centuries BC, which means that it is a lot older than the English language.
It is believed that Alphabet was created by Canaanites who lived in Egypt, but the language spread and evolved to adapt to the Greek alphabet. After that, the Roman empire used it and then English came around. The people who have used alphabet changed, but the order of letter remained the same.
