The battle between The Miz and “The King” Lawler in 2010 for the WWE Title was fine, but when Lawler fought Michael Cole in three consecutive pay-per-view matches one year later – that was overwhelming. There are so many things that went wrong in this feud and Cole’s mean jokes about the passing of Lawler’s mother were truly unnecessary.
